What documents do I need to start working with Flink?

The employees from Flink are coming from all over the world!🌍

The Dutch government has different requirements for different origins in terms of documents:

1. If you are from the EEA (European Economic Area)

  • Valid ID card or passport (the document has to be valid for at least the upcoming 3 months)
  • BSN number (that's a mandatory number to live and work here in the Netherlands)
  • Bank card (the card has to have visible IBAN and name together)

2. If you are from a non-EEA country

  • Valid passport (the document has to be valid for at least the upcoming 3 months)
  • NLD residence permit card that says a work permit is not required ("arbeid vrij toegestaan, twv niet vereist")
  • BSN number (that's a mandatory number to live and work here in the Netherlands)
  • Bank card (the card has to have visible IBAN and name together)

3. Requirements for Ukrainian nationality applicants:

  • ID card or passport (the document has to be valid for at least the upcoming 3 months)
  • IND sticker
  • IND renewal letter (if sticker has an expiration date of March 2023)
  • BSN number (that's a mandatory number to live and work here in the Netherlands)
  • Bank card (the card has to have visible IBAN and name together)

4. If you are a non-EU student:

  • NLD residence ("Studie")
  • Valid passport (the document has to be valid for at least the upcoming 3 months)
  • BSN number (that's a mandatory number to live and work here in the Netherlands)
  • Bank card (the card has to have visible IBAN and name together)

Unfortunately, Flink does not help with obtaining a work permit or VISA.
